Your Second Visit to Our River Heights Winnipeg Practice

Dr. Sean Shapiro examines x-rays.On your next visit we explain what we found and how we may be able to help you. After we study your health history and correlate our examination findings, we’ll make recommendations designed to help you get and keep your health. We call this the "Report of Findings". And it usually takes place the next day, if possible.

Why can’t we complete all in the first visit? This two-visit approach accomplishes several things:

  • Reduces the length of your first visit
  • Gives us time to study your case
  • Avoids overloading you with too much information

In certain situations, and in the professional judgment of your doctor, we sometimes make exceptions. It just depends on your unique situation.

Dr Sean Asks some important questions of interest to River Heights Winnipeg residents - Chiropractor River Heights Winnipeg Dr Sean Asks...

Will chiropractic adjustments make my spine too loose?
No. Only the spinal joints that are fixated and "locked up" receive attention. The occasional spinal joint that moves too much is passed over so weakened muscles and ligaments can strengthen and heal.
Can someone who has had back surgery receive chiropractic care?
Yes. Rest assured that we will avoid the surgically modified areas of your spine. However, what we find is that surgical interventions will often produce spinal instability above or below the involved level. This is will be the focus of your chiropractic care.
